Desktop audit

To perform an accurate desktop audit you need to be able to rely upon the data gathered. Data recognition among inventory tools is notoriously poor with most tools recognising less than 70% of the files installed on your system.

We gather data via our e-link tool or directly from your existing inventory systems and convert it into highly accurate inventory data upon which we can build an audit baseline.

Using either our own process monitor or an existing tool we build a picture of what is being used - this allows you to see where opportunities lie to make savings and reduce licensing risk and enables us to prioritise the license reconcilliation process.

License data is gathered and sent to our back office for processing. We populate your license repository and provide you with an initial audit position which will include recommended actions.

If you choose to subscribe to our fully managed service then we will continue to process, inventory, usage and license data on an ongoing basis to provide you with a rolling audit position.
